Our story began in 2024 right here in Crosslake, MN, sparked by a simple Northwoods challenge: how to keep green life thriving indoors when the winters are long, cold, and bleak.
Our founder, a mechanical engineer with 15 years of experience in industrial automation and equipment manufacturing, saw a gap in the way we care for our plants. Having spent a career spanning agricultural and software companies, he knew there was a more reliable way to manage irrigation than the frustrating, laborious task of manual watering—a process too often derailed by busy schedules or the accidental over- and under-watering that leads to lost plants.
Engineering a Better Way to Water
We didn’t want a "one-size-fits-all" irrigation system; we wanted a precision tool for the things people actually care about growing. That’s why we developed our own unique, hassle-free solutions from the ground up. By combining a custom-built controller with a suite of soil moisture sensors and robust valves, we created a system that ensures every single plant - from an indoor tropical to a backyard raised bed - gets the exact amount of water it needs, exactly when it needs it.
