Background
Our story began in 2023 in the heart of rural Minnesota, sparked by a simple need: to bring green life indoors when the winters are long, cold, and bleak. Our founder, a mechanical engineer with 14 years immersed in industrial automation and equipment design (spanning agricultural and software companies), understood the potential for a better way. The idea for the Automatic Plant Watering System was born from the frustrating, laborious task of maintaining numerous indoor plants—a process too often ruined by busy schedules and accidental over or under-watering. We created a unique, hassle-free solution. Our system uses advanced technology—a suite of soil moisture sensors, precision valves, nozzles, and a custom controller—to ensure every single plant gets the exact amount of water, only at the moment it needs it.
